Questions to Ask to Determine the Will of God in Your Life
- Have you sought God’s will? Have you looked for what He would have you to do? John 5:30
- Is the need for salvation a factor? John 6:40
- Have you prayed about it? With faith? Mat 7:7,

- Have you committed your decision to the Lord? Psa

- Have you searched the Scriptures for the answer? 2 Tim 3:16
- Have you delighted in the Lord, putting Him as first
place in your life? Psa 37:4, Matt 6:33, Rom 8:28
- Have you sought the counsel of others? Have you sought counsel from the right
people? Prov 11:14
- Have you sought the advice of your parents? Have you heeded their advice? Prov 1:8
- Is laziness, avoiding work that should be done, a
factor? Prov 24:33-34
- Are you allowing worldly ways, attitudes, or
influences to affect your decision?

- Do you have doubts?
Which decision gives you peace?

- Will this cause problems or be a stumbling block with
those who are weaker in the faith?

- Which decision will be a better use of your

- What do circumstances seem to say about this

- Is selfishness a factor in the decision? Are the interests of others being

- Does either decision present itself as looking like

- Have you examined the situation carefully? Did you give a fair review of all
choices? Are there other choices

- Have you allowed God to affect every part of the

- Can you accept God’s will, even if it is not what you

- As you do God’s will, complete what He asked you to
do, and do it wholeheartedly. John

- He who does God’s will is favored with God, not those

- As you obey God’s will, you will see that He is

- God said of David, that David was “a man after My own
heart, who will do all My will.”

don’t know what tomorrow has in store for you. When making plans, you ought to say, "If the Lord
